The Insulated Waxed Cotton Cap

Love it. Easier to clean up after a day in the wood shop than my black wool.

This hat is really well made. I had to send it back and get a larger size. It was a lot tighter than the size 7-1/2 rancher hat that I already owned. The waxed surface repels a lot of the every day barn dirt. The only reservation I have is that the ear flaps do not come down far enough to cover the bottom of my ears. It would be really great if the flaps could move farther. ~~Thanks for the review Joe. You may want to look at the Waxed Cotton Rancher Cap as it has an extended earband for ear and neck coverage. I wear a duo rag cap under so the cap stays clean, so needed a slightly larger size. It's great to have a warm head on the farm.

I really like this one--the blaze band makes it suitable for upland hunting. As with all SK hats, quality is unmatched.

My state tribute SK hat is a size 7 1/2 and fits great. Purchased a 7 1/2 waxed/Insulated/Orange SK. The hat was big. The returned 7 1/2, received by SK on 10/04/22. No word yet on the shipment of the new one. ~~ I'll have our Customer Service team look into this SK ~~

Order 7 seams to be on the tight size last hat i got from SK was same size and fit just right may take a little longer to fit good

I've worn this hat for a full winter; ok it's still winter here in Northern Minnesota! This hat is warm and durable. It's great for day to day and extended trips to the winter shooting range. It is stiff because of the waxed cotton material so it keeps the shape of my dome and is easy to tuck my sunglasses up above the bill and behind the ear flaps keeping them handy!
