Has great potential. Needs more insulation on top. I would add primaloft gold and also line the hat with fleece instead of the current liner. It would add some additional loft and warmth. Also, add snaps for the forehead flap instead of the stitches. Lastly, make one version with a gore tex liner. Then it will be blizzard ready.
I purchase the Trapper Hat for ice fishing and general out activities to keep warm in Northern Wisconsin winters. It has met my expectations. The reason for the for starts is the fit. I ordered according to the size chart and purchase a large. It is a little tighter than I wanted. It still works but wonder if the next size would have been a better choice.

Love this hat! Nowhere near as bulky as I thought it may be but still incredibly warm! The Lamilite insulation let’s moisture escape but still performs when the exterior of the hat is wet with snow and ice. Great USA-made hat! Thank you for offering this style!

I ordered an XL hat, it's very snug. XXL was not available in this style that I wanted. Otherwise it's a nice hat.
Excellent hat , warm in freezing weather , the wool covering and good protection . Bought three in the last two years,mine, son in law , and a red plaid for my daughter. They live in rural Colorado .

I own a few traditional Stormy Kromer caps, but wanted something a little warmer for the tough Alaskan Winters. This Trapper style checks all the boxes. It's both warm, and comfortable. Great hat when the temps slip below zero.
